Photo Dump

The Blogfather has told me that I should just change over to a photoblog. I can't tell whether that's a commentary on my decline in writing ability or I'm actually posting pics worth checking out. Far too few NSFW in my opinion. Here's a few that got lost in the mix from my trip south.

Don't forget about the Friday Night Donkament tonight and the Brit Blogger game on Sunday.

Mookie crash decision

Nothing can go absolutely trouble free in my world. That would be too simple and not nearly entertaining enough for the gods. Last night's Mookie was the latest example. A nice field of 83 players showed up including Dr. Pauly, Change100, JoeSpeaker, Daddy, Drizz and I even threw my money in the pot.

Get down to the final table with a fun crew of players. Pauly starts running over the field and CRASH. Down go the servers. There have been some other hiccups during past BBT's but this the first time we've lost the entire thing.

It's been a ton of fun coming up with a solution.

After talking it over with those in the know, we've decided to give everyone points depending on where they were sitting at the time and use the payouts according to the FTP policy on voided tournaments that are "in the money". Everyone was paid out depending and that means Pauly gets the TOC seat. My decision was a little easier when I realized he was sitting on 42% of the chips in play with 7 players left. Chip counts at crash time (I somehow thought to take a screenshot).

1. Dr. Pauly - 104,891
2. veryjosie - 30,175
3. xXGetLuckyXx - 26,695
4. noollab - 24,849
5. ElSnarfGrande - 22,490
6. MaggieO - 20,720
7. Drizztdj - 19,180

Once I get the final payout numbers I will finish updating the Leaderboards.

Naturally I will listen to anyone who could possibly have concerns about how the chop was handled. Feel free to email me. Please use "Mookie Chop Whine" as the email subject so I can setup my spam filter properly.

Mookie tonight, where I guarantee Waffles won't win

If I'm drinking, I'm too hungover to write.
If I'm sober, I'm too distracted with DT's to write.

I have a post due up tomorrow on here about things going around this week about the BBT4 field sizes. Nothing major but I have a few ideas why things are different from years past.

I also have a post due up this week on Poker From the Rail reviewing the new Mike Matusow book from Amy Calistri and Dr. Tim.

Until then, I'll definitely be playing in the Mookie this evening.

Big BadBlood Birthday Thrash Bash

In honor of BadBlood's birthday, I figured I'd take a some time and revisit a little CD we put out there back in Aught 5. The Bible of Thrash Vol 1 was supposed to be an ongoing series of CD's with thrash songs from different eras. Volume 1 was the beginning of Thrash. Thanks to the increase in mp3 downloads, the other CD's never made it out and our little production company went to shittown before any other CD's were released.

Now we have our good friends youtube, where you can get videos of great songs at shitty bit rates. But I'll give this a shot anyway. The video version of AlCantHang & BadBlood present The Bible of Thrash Vol 1. Some of the songs have actual videos, some have just the song with half-assed cover art, other won't even let me embed the video (thank you to the tight ass jack-tards at the music company).

Happy 420

Monday is a little crazy for me as I finish up a long post for Poker From the Rail, deal with travel plans back to Key West and Las Vegas this summer and settle up a thousand small issues. When I find the time I also have to finish up my Road Trip video and spend as much time with Zeke the Puppy while I'm back.

Instead of a proper post, I'll give you a youtube clip in honor of 420 for Dr. Pauly, Change100 and all others who indulge. Tenacious D and Marijuanaville. Cheers.
